I bring the power of contemplative practices and somatic coaching to help people flourish and find a more vibrant way to live in the world.
About Me
I integrate mindfulness, self-compassion, and ancient practices with neuroscietific and biobehavioral techniques to help you move towards greater well-being at home, work, or school. I am a somatic coach and therapist working with individuals and groups searching for tools to lower levels of anxiety, build emotional resilience, and become wiser leaders.
I am a graduate of Princeton University, and earned a Masters in Counselor Education from the University of Virginia (UVA). In addition to holding an M.Ed., I am a certified Yoga Therapist, completed RYT200 Certification, and am currently a student in the Mindfulness Meditation Teacher Certification Program with Tara Brach and Jack Kornfield.
I have an online and in-person private practice working with individual clients. I lead workshops for corporate retreats and for executive coaches in the Heidrick and Struggles’ Leadership Coaching for Organizational Performance (LCOP) course.
I have assisted teaching a class called Contemplative Leadership and Contemplative Public Policy at the UVA Batten School. I teach two courses at UVA: Mindful Leadership and Mindfulness for Well-being. In addition, I provide therapeutic yoga classes for incarcerated individuals at the prison, for the UVA Cross Country team, and to individuals at the Contemplative Sciences Center.
As a yoga practitioner for 28 years, I find deep joy in embodied movement which also includes hiking and paddleboarding. My three children, my partner, and my dogs keep me real as I (many times unsuccessfully) practice being the sky, not the weather.
